Family Getaway

Had a really wonderful (much needed) Family weekend/mini getaway. One of our favorite spots to venture to, close enough to pack up at the last minute and leave for. Blessed to be able to leave and go!
Visited lots of cute shops and some restaurants. I did pack lots of food, that way we could save some money. :) Weather was chilly but still great for walks. We even brought Sophie for the weekend and she loved being with us. Little man was a saint and loved it as well.
Can't wait to visit again this summer.

My new dining room light

LOVE my new light (installed by handy hubby). It's so simple but I love it. Lowe's line of Allen and Roth. On sale too, so another score ;). 

Finally was able to get rid of the ugly 90's chandelier... I tried several different things with Pinterest ideas on it, to try to see if I could save and re use and possibly make something work with it... but nothing was working. It was THAT ugly.. LOL.

DIY Pallet couch/daybed

We have been talking about it for awhile now.... and finally we made this pallet couch! I love the simplicity of it, and how durable it is. Very cost effective (literally ;) ). Thankful for a handy hubby who can read my mind like this.... haha. 

What do you think of it? Fits right into my Boho style decor... don't ya think??

Springtime

So excited for Spring! We have lots of plans for this Spring, and Lord Willing they will be set into action! :) Keeping busy around here.... and little man is growing fast.

Thankful for all the blessings we have been given. What is new in your neck of the woods? Any farmers out there anxious for planting and gardening? We do not "farm" animals currently, although we do have a dog. But, we do plan on having a garden.... and hopefully a few barn animals for the kiddos.
