Bedroom Love

Seriously, this is one of the prettiest bedroom sets I have seen in awhile!! I have an entire white bed and sheet set as well for our King size... but this is just gorgeous! I love the chippy painted dresser in this photo too. What is it about WHITE that is so Chic? (IF DONE CORRECTLY ;) ).
Rachel Ashwell/Shabby Chic. One of my most favorite designers!!
Seriously, who wouldn't love this?!

Thanksgiving Tablescapes and Decorating

One of my favorite seasons (after Summertime of course :) ) is FALL! The colors, and indian summer weather is just great. Its probably the next best thing to a hot summer day. I love driving past homes and seeing how others display their pumpkins and gourds for the season, and do some decorating for fall. (NOT a huge halloween fan though ;) )...
I thought it would be fun to share how I decorated our dining room table for fall and possibly into thanksgiving. Also including a few other's tables capes that I fell in love with! One of which, is my Moms. So excited to share the photos.... I hope this post can inspire some other Stay at Home Mamas or just Ladies in general to get crafty with what you have and set up something. You don't have to go spend a ton of money to make a gorgeous centerpiece, and honestly... for me the more I try to "buy" stuff to decorate with, it just looks forced and modernish.. or something. LOL.
Lets see what you have set up! I'll be featuring a couple tables capes here so lets get started.   Also- if you're not big on decorating your table that you happen to use daily, I also am including some inspiration for just around the house. I know not everyone has a dining room AND formal dining room- with littles it can be difficult to keep a pretty display up on the table when you eat there daily. We just have the dining room which works great as little Guy is still in his highchair.

1.  First tables cape with some Fall Decor is my Mom! HomemakerAng. One of the things I loved most about the "theme" she went with was all the color and vintage table linens. Its created a very welcoming feeling, and a lot of the dishes I remember growing up with myself.
See- inviting :). The heirloom pumpkins are featured as part of the centerpiece as well as some Indian corn and antiques. Also some stoneware pieces to add that warm touch.

I just LOVE this mantel! Its double sided, so I made sure to get a photo of each side of the mantel as she left enough decor that its still a normal functioning household for everyone. I like leaving seasonal things left out still such as my plants I would have out during summer, or dishes and pillows etc. Gotta keep it functional!
Hydrangea Love kinda runs in our family :). My Grandma uses them, my mom... and also myself.

Again, this is still a welcoming touch, and I love how she incorporates the golds and blues together so well.

The middle of their formal sitting room has a big sheepskin rug that is great to snuggle on in front of the fireplace. Here, our son is snuggling in while Mommy snapped a few photos. :). Family pics on the mantel keep it personal too!
Make sure to check out her blog for more great inspirational photos! www.eclecticculturefarm.blogspot.com

2.   Here is what I came up with for ours! I incorporated some of our farm sunflowers I dried, and also some pumpkins and my sweet hubby surprised me with some Osage Oranges he gathered. SO SWEET ;).
I kept mine super simple as we use this table daily. I love the benches that so easily can be pushed underneath the table during daytime.

Burlap, white pumpkin, dried sunflowers and Osage Oranges!

The hydrangeas and roses are special to me, they were in our wedding as my flower girls bouquets!

This buffet is great as I feel I can continuously change it to fit the seasons.
Just some old glassware I have been collecting. Im a sucker for bubbly glass.... but also anything Milk Glass!

*Keep your tables capes simple so you want to do them throughout the year :).*
I think its a great focal point to show your artistic side. Include the kids in on it too.. We are making a "Thankful Tree" soon, and I'll be posting about that when I can. But I want to teach our children early on, to be thankful with all that God provides for our family!

3. These photos are taken by Rachel over at shadesofblueinteriors.com. I love her color scheme for Thanksgiving, but my favorite is the floral centerpiece! I love anything to do with plants and florals, and the eucalyptus leaves did me in. :)

I like how she kept her tables cape more "simple" but the centerpiece was where she went bigger!

Also looks like she used things she had laying around like my Mom did and I did with mine. Sometimes using what you have is the best way to go!

All of these turned out beautiful!

Hope this collaboration I threw together inspired some of you out there. Please comment with your blog name so I can check out some of your Fall decor centerpieces!
